Windmills of your mind

As societal awareness of mental well-being grows, my work explores inner landscapes of calm and reflection. Our minds are constantly active, filled with thoughts that make it difficult to grasp others' inner experiences. Even in moments of stillness, stray thoughts emerge. Inspired by Michel Legrand’s The Windmills of Your Mind, this piece reflects the intricate, cyclical nature of life—where beginnings and endings merge into a continuous loop.

This work evokes a deep sense of nostalgia, weaving together memories of places, people, objects, sights, and sounds that shape our consciousness. It highlights the idea that while we can never fully understand another’s mind, we can create spaces that encourage introspection and connection. In doing so, we cultivate a shared awareness of mental well-being and the universal need for tranquillity and reflection.
